RA President Robert Kocharian received on January 16 Gela Bezhuashvili, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, who is on a two-days official visit in Armenia. Mentioning as a fact the high level of the Armenian-Georgian relations based on historic close ties and the two peoples' strong friendship, the sides expressed confidence that the bilateral cooperation will develop with success from now on as well. The President of the republic and the Georgian Foreign Minister exchanged opinions concerning programs of development of the sphere of energy of the two countries, possibilities for cooperation. They also spoke about differentiation of the Armenian-Georgian state border and the current work of delimitation and expressed confidence that the process will have bilaterally acceptable end. As Noyan Tapan was informed by the RA President's Press Office, the issue of preserving Armenian monuments of the territory of Georgia was touched upon as well.
