15.10.2005 20:31 GMT+04:00 /PanARMENIAN.Net/ In the opinion of Georgian MP Van Bayburd leaflets with threats against Armenians that have appeared in Akhalkalaki and Akhaltsikh are provocation organized by Russia. «Who else is interested in peace in Georgia?» stated the deputy, who represents the ruling party of the Parliament. One of the leaders of the United National Movement ruling party Giga Bokeria does not doubt the presence of the «Russian trace» either. «We do not divide our country on the basis of ethnic criterion. All Georgian citizens are equal. Those, who want to lead the country by another route are enemies of this state. In this case all this is like actions of the northern neighbors,» he stated. Some Georgian MPs also agree with this opinion. It should be reminded that leaflets appeared in Akhalkalaki and Akhaltsikh towns in Georgian Samtskhe-Javakheti region mostly populated by Armenians. The leaflets specifically said: «Time has come for revenge. Armenians, we are coming and who appears at our way will be killed. Russians will not help you, their time on our land has passed.» The leaflets were signed «Akhaltsikh liberation brigade.» Criminal proceedings are instituted due to this fact. !
